Han So-hee shared a behind-the-scenes detail about undergoing a facial injury while filming the new Korean series, Gyeongseong Creature. The show is scheduled to premiere on December 22.On Tuesday, at the press conference of Gyeongseong Creature, So-hee said, "I was injured because I was overly greedy. Injuries in action scenes are not limited to me; the stunt team and other actors involved in the action scenes are also injured... It's fortunate if you don't get hurt, but you can't act in this atmosphere without getting hurt. Everyone is serious about the filming."
Han So-hee further mentioned that she could have prevented harm but failed to do so. She apologised for disrupting the filming and reassured everyone that she is fine now, attributing the harm to being overly ambitious.
During filming for the series in August, she suffered a facial injury near her eye, which led to a trip to the emergency room. Although there were initial worries about needing surgery, her agency, 9ATO Entertainment, confirmed that the injury was not as serious as feared and did not need surgical treatment.
Set in 1945 during Japanese rule in colonial South Korea, Gyeongseong Creature Part 1 unfolds the narrative of Jang Tae-sang, a wealthy and knowledgeable individual, and Yoon Chae-ok, a specialist in finding missing persons. As Yoon Chae-ok seeks her mother, their paths converge, unveiling a sinister discovery within the foreboding walls of a hospital—an eerie creature.
The series stars Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Claudia Kim, Kim Hae-sook, Jo Han-chul, Wi Ha-joon. The first part of the series is scheduled to premiere on December 22 with the second part following on January 5, 2024.
