Disk Wars, that's what it called, follows the trite pattern of anime for preteens: the Avengers seem to be some kind of Pokemon or Digimon, as they're summoned by Japanese kids via magical/hi-tech disks, and it's reaching the furthest edge of absurdity. The silver lining is that their appearance and costume designs are borrowed directly from Marvel films. Loki is not an exception.

My grievance is that Disk Wars are getting only mediocre merchandise from Bandai, and there're no plans for Loki action figure in the nearest future. Anyway, we have the superb Hot Toys release!
